چکیده

Time-dependent, two-dimensional Sakiadis flow of quiescent fluid is considered. The induced by stationary flat plate via uniform free-stream (Blasius flow). variable conductivity and viscosity ratio parameters non-linear chemical reaction are employed in the mathematical equations. Similarity variables governing transport expressions to convert into ordinary differential system. transformed system computed numerically employing Runge-Kutta scheme shooting criteria. Results concentration, velocity temperature distributions studied through plots. Moreover, mass heat transfer rates friction factor have been discussed detail. constraint slow down friction-factors transportation for Sakiadis-Blasius situations enhances rate both cases. Rate smaller as comparative Blasius flow. present results matched with literature excellent agreement noticed.

Turbulent transport in hydromagnetic flows

The predictive power of mean-field theory is emphasized by comparing theory with simulations under controlled conditions. The recently developed test-field method is used to extract turbulent transport coefficients both in the kinematic and the nonlinear or quasi-kinematic cases. A striking example of the quasi-kinematic method is provided by magnetic buoyancy-driven flows that produce an α eff...

Heat Transfer Analysis of Blasius and Sakiadis Flow of Mhd Radiated Maxwell Fluid with Cattaneo- Christov Heat Flux Model

A theoretical investigation is performed for studying the flow of heat transfer characteristics of Sakiadis and Blasius flow of magnetohydrodynamic Maxwell fluid with thermal radiation. We also incorporated the Cattaneo-Chirstov heat flux model to control the heat transfer phenomena. Numerical solutions are carried out by using Shooting technique. The effects of various governing parameters on ...

Homogenization in Nonlinear Chemical Reactive Flows

The goal of this paper is to study a nonlinear model for some chemical reactive flows involving diffusion, adsorption and chemical reactions which take place at the boundary and also in the interior of a periodically perforated material. The effective behavior of such flows is governed by another nonlinear boundary-value problem, which contains extra zero-order terms and captures the effect pro...

Hydromagnetic instability in differentially rotating flows.

We study the stability of compressible differentially rotating flows in the presence of the magnetic field, and we show that the compressibility profoundly alters the previous results for a magnetized incompressible flow. The necessary condition of newly found instability can be easily satisfied in various flows in laboratory and astrophysical conditions and reads BsBphiOmega' not equal to 0, w...

Variable Elimination in Chemical Reaction Networks with Mass-Action Kinetics

We consider chemical reaction networks taken with mass-action kinetics. The steady states of such a system are solutions to a system of polynomial equations. Even for small systems the task of finding the solutions is daunting. We develop an algebraic framework and procedure for linear elimination of variables. The procedure reduces the variables in the system to a set of “core” variables by el...
